Cleburne Fire Fighters Association
The Cleburne Fire Fighters Association, an affiliate of the International Association of Fire Fighters was established in 1919. The Cleburne Fire Fighters Association also known as Local 170 is committed to providing the best possible service and protection to our community.

Our History
The Cleburne Fire Fighters Association was originally started in 1919. At that time we were Local #170. Somewhere between 1919 and 1969 we lost our membership in the International Association and our local number. On July 8, 1969 our local was started up again, but we had lost our original local number. We have been International Association of Firefighters Local #1854 up until recently. We were able to reclaim our original local number and are once again Local #170.

Our Mission
The mission of Local #170 is to make a positive impact on the community we serve. We work with our citizens and our city government to promote fire department growth and firefighter safety. By addressing these needs we can provide the best possible service and protection to our community.

Our Charities
We are a non-profit organization that accepts charitable donations and works hard in fund raising to benefit several charities and address local needs. 100% of all proceeds collected through donations and fund raising go to charitable needs. We have long been supporters of the Jerry's Kids MDA Fill the Boot program.

Some of the charities we work to promote are burn foundations like the Shriners and Parkland Burn Foundation, Christmas in Action, and Casa of Johnson County. We also donate to families in our community after they have suffered losses from fires. Our latest partnership is with the H.O.P.E. Clinic. Click on the Charities Tab to learn more.
